Madonna

Over the years when I send flowers, inevitably I send all white with a few Casablanca lilies mixed in the bouquet. It’s such a clean elegant look that it fits into every ones unique style. This year, however, I discovered this white Madonna lily and was so taken by its beauty that instead of placing it in a bouquet I felt it would have more lasting power on canvas. To offset the graceful strength of this flower I used seven different applications and colors of acrylic paint to the backdrop.
