I set my first brush to canvas two days after the tragedy of September 11, 2001. I was in church praying to God to please guide me, help me find a way to globally respond to this horrible act of terrorism, thus this painting and my first attempt in this medium. Fernando Botero, the Columbian artist was my great inspiration.
