The Cool Chicks Trip rafting the Colorado River by day and camping on the shores by night inspired this painting. To verbally describe the ever changing colors of the sky is virtually impossible, but to capture the color on canvas was a cinch. The woman on horseback is fictitious, but she certainly portrays the ease of freedom and the ubiquitous beauty of the Grand Canyon.
